About The New Zealand Football Foundation
The New Zealand Football Foundation is a charitable trust established when the All Whites qualified for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The Foundation believes in the power of sport to build stronger communities, supporting projects and initiatives around the country that use Football for Good.
The Foundation is overseen by a Board of volunteer Trustees (below) who are hugely passionate about grassroots football and bring a wealth of professional expertise to ensure quality decisions are made, with a long-term lens, to benefit football in New Zealand for generations to come. Our PatroN - Ryan Nelson

The New Zealand Football Foundation are proud to have Former All White Captain Ryan Nelson ONZM as the Patron of the Football Foundation.
Ryan is a former professional footballer who not only Captained the All Whites during the infamous undefeated 2010 World Cup Campaign, he also played at the highest level in both the USA and England, most notably for Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur.

The New Zealand Football Foundation are proud to have Sir Eion Edgar as a past Honorary Patron of the Football Foundation.
Sir Eion Edgar was a man who made a big difference in New Zealand, both as a visionary businessman and as a philanthropist in sport, education, youth, arts, sports and health.
Sir Eion was also a generous benefactor, having donated $500,000 to the Foundation.
